We have invested heavily in IT. We use Windows-based file servers, email, wordprocessing and spreadsheet packages. The firm is instructed by one of Northern Ireland's leading Insurers by means of one such data-based package.

All Solicitors have permanent desktop Internet access. The IT investment provides the technology to monitor the progress of litigation and deliver on our overriding objective of resolving cases at the earliest appropriate time. At present too many cases settle at the door of the Court. From a Defendant point of view this is, of course, the least appropriate stage to settle as maximum costs have been incurred, often in circumstances where settlement could have been effected earlier.
